John decided to repeat the theme of his first Shamrock V painting by showing her this time as she appeared on her 65th anniversary in 1995. John had a long relationship with Shamrock having been instrumental in The Museum of Yachting acquiring the yacht through the Lipton Tea Company in 1988.
